A purchase price and a sale price aren't profit. They don't include costs like back taxes, title work, repairs, insurance, legal fees, and the cost of holding a property.
Your results depend on a lot of things, including your research, the rules in your state and county, which properties are available, how much money you have, the market, the time and effort you put in, and things nobody controls.
